I originally wrote this song back in 2009 after the leader of one of the bands I watched perform at the annual Bean Blossom Bluegrass Festival mentioned that he could not afford to pay his usual driver due to the high cost of diesel fuel, and so in turn had to drive the bus himself. I gave him a copy of this demo.
