Wisdom comes from listening
to what our parents and teachers have to say.
For they have lived several more years than we have,
and have learned more along their way.

There are many things we’ll be asked to do,
and when asked, we’ll often wonder why.
Please don’t be afraid to ask some questions,
if you don’t understand before you try.

Wisdom comes from making mistakes,
not everyone’s successful on the first try.
It’s alright to have to try something again,
for it’s the mistakes we make that we learn by.
