As often as the earth spins round,
we should take care of its ground.
Whether in the country or in some town,
we need to keep it safe and sound.

There are many ways to reach this goal,
all of which we have control.
Everyone can play a role,
when we reduce, reuse, and recycle.

We must respect our natural resources
such as coal, water, wood, and ore,
and not take them for granted
as so many people have before.

We must respect the air and sky,
where scents can linger and some birds fly,
and keep it free from polluted fumes,
so the grass will grow and the flowers bloom.
